The excerpt of a mural on the wall of Boroujerdiha House depicts a faceless portrait of a woman surrounded by colorful floral motifs. Through a process, the characteristics of the printer and scanner—faulty sensors, shifting print-heads, noise, and compression—kept altering the motif and eroding its information until all that remained was an abstract pattern of primary colors.
